LIVERPOOL, U.K. -- On a busy Saturday in the English Premier League, the top club in the table will try and keep their distance from the rest of the league, as Liverpool hosts Burnley.

Liverpool's long unbeaten streak was put to bed last Sunday, losing in convincing fashion to Arsenal in an important match in the race for the EPL championship. The Reds had not lost in 15 straight league matches before the 3-1 defeat at the hands of the Gunners. It will be important for Liverpool to stay focused on the prize, especially with their upcoming schedule, as they have matchups against lowly clubs like Brentford, Luton Town and Nottingham Forest. They also have to look forward to the fifth round of the FA Cup, along with the EFL Cup Final against rival Chelsea.

Coming into Saturday, Liverpool is three points ahead of Manchester City and Arsenal.

On the near opposite end of the table, Burnley is once again looking to keep their spot in the Premier League. The Clarets are currently 19th in the standings, seven points back of Luton Town, who is just outside of the relegation zone. If they want to get out of the bottom three, they need to start earning three points. After drawing with Fulham last Saturday, Burnley has gone winless in their last five EPL matches having not won since Dec. 23.

Liverpool won the Boxing Day matchup between these two clubs, and is 60-29-38 all-time against Burnley.
