BEXLEY -- David Shorr, 64, passed away peacefully surrounded by family, Friday, Feb. 9, 2024, after a long battle with early-onset Alzheimer's disease.

Shorr II. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Marilyn Tipton; father-in-law, Jeffrey (Susie) Cohen; his aunt Lois Stanchek, aunt Patsy and uncle Edward Knuff, and uncle Art Eckles. He leaves many special friends and numerous cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Dr. Henry L. Shorr, his grandparents and his aunt Carolyn Eckles.

David's life will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 18, 2024, at Temple Israel, 3100 E. Broad St., Columbus. The family will receive friends and family after the service.

The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the Sage Park Memory Care staff in Gahanna, and Suncrest Hospice, who treated David with great care.
