Hoosac Valley boys defend home court, beat rival Drury to end the regular season

CHESHIRE -- They say defense wins championships. Thursday night was a throwback to the old Berkshire League days. With two North County arch-rivals grinding out a game right before the Western Massachusetts tournament.

But Hoosac Valley wasn't going to be denied on Senior Night. The Hurricanes did just enough on offense while clamping down on the back end to get a 51-37 win over Drury in the final game of the season.
