Top seeded Hoban too much for Barberton: Division I girls basketball postseason scoreboard

AKRON, Ohio -- Survive and advance is the name of the game when it comes to postseason basketball. The Archbishop Hoban Knights did just that in the first round of the OHSAA Division I girls basketball playoffs, downing Barberton 63-20 Saturday in Akron.

Mackenzie Edinburgh scored eight of the Knights' first ten points, but Hoban's full-court trapping defense was what allowed Hoban to take control early on. If the Knights had any pregame jitters nobody could tell as they jumped out to a 20-4 lead.
