Seacoast Saturday roundup: Portsmouth/Newmarket hockey edges rival St. Thomas

DOVER - Four players scored a goal as the Portsmouth/Newmarket boys hockey team edged rival St. Thomas Aquinas, 4-3 on Saturday in a Division II game at Dover Ice Arena.

Cal Rothstein, Patrick Slover, Chase Conklin and Gabe Ferreira all scored for the ClipperMules, while Will Clark had 41 saves.

Pat McGaughey, Thomas Edgerly and Connor Gray all scored for the Saints.

MANCHESTER - Eliza Farwell scored two goals, and Teagan Wilson, Kira Jakobs, Sienna Metcalf and Maeve Harney all had one for Oyster River/Portsmouth in a Division I contest at Sullivan Arena.

Jakobs and Ailish Honda both had two assists, while Harney and Hannah Henderson both had one.

EXETER - Lilyan Blood scored all three goals for Exeter in its Division I win at The Rinks.

Hailey O'Kane and Sophie Young both had an assist for the Blue Hawks, and goalie Marie Monge had 23 saves.
