Tri County Help Center to host its first ever gala

BELMONT COUNTY, Ohio (WTRF) - The Tri County Help Center is hosting their first ever gala on March 2 at Undo's in St. Clairsville.

From 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., everyone is welcome to join the staff and other community members in celebrating all the work the center has done in the last 45 years to help women.

Tri County Help Center serves Belmont, Monroe and Harrison counties by providing trauma informed services for victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and human trafficking.

The upcoming gala aims to commemorate everyone who has donated, volunteered or advocated for the center.

"Organizations that have been founded by these grassroots movements are few and far between, let alone an organization that comes from so much activism. We have power in the collective. There's power in solidarity, and that's what we want this event to honor."

There will be a cash bar, appetizers, desserts, 50/50 raffle, DJ and a photo booth.
