Monster truck runs over worker at Ohio event

MARION, Ohio -- A man was flown by helicopter to a Columbus hospital after he was run over by a monster truck during an event at a county fairgrounds.

The Marion County Sheriff's Office says 56-year-old victim was a worker on the safety staff Saturday night during Monster Truck Wars in the Coliseum at the Marion County Fairgrounds. The sheriff's office did not release details on what led to the incident.

The man was first taken to Marion General Hospital before being flown to Grant Medical Center in Columbus. No information was released on his condition.

The sheriff's office says the incident remains under investigation.
