Daltonganj: A six-day mediation drive related to family matters will begin at the civil court, Daltonganj, from March 11. The principal district and sessions judge and chairman of the district legal services authority (DLSA), Niraj Kumar Srivastav, said, "The family matter mediation drive will be done both online and offline for the convenience of the litigants, who have been served notices to present their contention."
The drive will take up issues like restitution of conjugal rights, judicial separation, dissolution of marriage, declaration of matrimonial status, child custody, divorce, alimony or spousal support, property division, and domestic violence.
Niraj said, "The drive aims to stem the breakdown of domestic and conjugal life. It will help couples live in peace without malice to each other in situations where husband and wife are reluctant to live together."
DLSA secretary Arpit Shrivastava said preparations are on for the drive.
