Vehicle of minister's convoy en route to PM's rally meets with accident in Sivasagar dist Dibrugarh | Guwahati News - Times of India

Dibrugarh: A vehicle, which was a part of minister of industries, commerce & public enterprises and cultural affairs Bimal Borah's convoy, met with an accident on NH-37 in Sivasagar district on Saturday, resulting in minor injuries to five persons, including three policemen, reports Rajib Dutta.

The minister was en route to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's meeting venue in Jorhat.Borah was reportedly tasked with bringing people from Tinsukia, Dibrugarh and Charaideo districts to the public rally in Jorhat.

The incident occurred when the vehicle hit a cattle herd and turned turtle. The collision caused substantial damage to the vehicle, with one of the wheels coming loose due to the impact.
