Monrovia - Several residents affected by a demolition process at the Catholic Junction Community in Congo Town, have been unnerved by how they were being vacated.

The residents noted that the shocking demolition had created a total setback for them and that they were not informed by the court's decision.

Some of the residents alleged that some of their belongings were stolen while Civil Law Court officers were executing an order from the Supreme Court.

They said their homes were broken into by disadvantaged youths during the demolition.

Judge Ousman was Feika has confirmed that the decision was eliminated from the Supreme Court.

Th discontented residents narrated that three persons were sued by the Intestate Estate of the late Gaye and the matter proceeded as far as the Supreme Court which ruled in favor of the Gaye.

However, they argued that other residents were not brought under the jurisdiction of the Civil Law Court.

They claimed that they were not notified and never brought under the jurisdiction of the Court. Therefore, they assumed that they could not be compelled by the decision of the Court, since they were processed and noticed by cardinal legal principles.

Hence, the affected residents who spoke in separate statements maintained that the decision emanating from the Supreme Court should only affect those who were party to the suit.

The resident further notedsetbackse the action has not only created setbacks but caused distress for others, following an injury of a minor, enforce, by police who had gone to enforce the court's mandate.

The incident accordingly occurred Monday, April 1, at the Catholic junction area, resulting in a child being injured and unconscious.

The child, according to the resident is still undergoing medical treatment at the Catholic Hospital.

The resident further alleged that the injury of the minor occurred when police fired tear gas at the residents in resistance to the angry who tried to attack them.

The victims to the attention of the public, on Wednesday, April 3, also gathered at the Headquarters of the former ruling Coalition for Democratic Change to ask former President George Weah to intervene in their situation.
