NEW DELHI: Observing that there was no predicate offence and proceeds of crime against former IAS officer Anil Tuteja and his son Yash in the alleged liquor scam in Chhattisgarh, Supreme Court said Friday it may quash a money laundering case against them.

ASG, appearing for ED, submitted that there is enough material and the agency should be given liberty to lodge a fresh complaint.The court said it will quash the present complaint and record the statement of ASG that the agency wants to lodge a fresh complaint in accordance with the law.
