Dibrugarh: In a grand display of the saffron party's strength and popularity, CM Himanta Biswa Sarma on Sunday led a huge road show in Dibrugarh on Sunday evening in support of BJP's Dibrugarh candidate Sarbananda Sonowal, reports Rajib Dutta.

The 7-km road show witnessed the active participation of thousands of enthusiastic BJP supporters. The rally started from the Chowkidingee playground and culminated at Radhanath Changkakoti Road.Addressing the people, CM Sarma urged them to vote for the BJP in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

"The massive turnout at this roadshow shows the the popularity of the BJP. The people of Assam have shown their faith in PM Modi's leadership and the development work carried out by BJP govt. We are confident that people will vote for progress and development by choosing the BJP in the elections" CM Sarma said.
