BRISTOL - Cynthia (Ostrander) Berger, age 75, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 12, 2024, at Countryside Manor at Bristol after a long illness. She was the loving wife of the late David Berger.

Born on July 18, 1948, in Waterbury, Cindy was the daughter of the late Brinton W. and Gladys (Nekrocius) Ostrander. She was a graduate of Sacred Heart High School and held a degree in radiology from the Franklin Institute of Arts and Sciences in Philadelphia, Pa. She worked in the radiology departments at Griffin Hospital and Bristol Hospital until her retirement. She enjoyed traveling and her favorite destination was Maine.

Cindy leaves her brother, Brinton Ostrander III and his wife Shirley, of Naugatuck; and two nieces, Melissa Garlej of Tucson, Ariz., and Brittany Hutchison of Middletown. She also leaves her friends Greg Sassu and Jim Edwards, both of Plymouth; and her beloved fur babies Suzee, Chuchi, Zoe, Gizmo, Marnier, Jackson, and Junior.

Cindy's family would like to thank the staff of Countryside Manor Nursing Home for their exceptional care, kindness, and compassion shown to Cindy while she lived there.

All services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
