Med Center Health breaks ground on new Glasgow location - WNKY News 40 Television

GLASGOW, Ky. - A new facility from Med Center Health is set to provide health care for residents of Barren County and some of the eastern parts of South Central Kentucky.

The new location is on South L Rogers Wells Boulevard near the Rural King shopping center.

The 22,000 square foot facility will offer radiology, ultrasound, MRIs and much more.

This new center plans to make it a little easier for those who live in Barren, Metcalfe, Adair, Cumberland and Monroe Counties.

The Executive Vice President of Med Center is a Glasgow resident, and he's excited to provide health care for his hometown.

"Patients... when they need specialized care that may not be available locally, Med Center has always been a go to and has always supported patients in this service area. It's an honor and a privilege to be a part of Med Center Health and be able to see services expanded to my hometown and be able to help people," Wade Stone says.

He also says the facility is expected to be open by spring 2025.
