Monrovia - Liberia Football Association (LFA) President Mustapha Raji says hiring of Salem Kebede as coach of the senior female National Team wasn't intended to "look down" on Liberian coaches.
Raji was speaking at the start of a three-day Instructor Refresher Course at the LFA HQ, where he introduced the Ethiopian as lead facilitator.
"I'm happy some of our coaches and instructors will benefit from Salem Kebede because the decision to hire the Ethiopian was based on her expertise and willingness to deliver additional knowledge.
"It wasn't intended to look down on our coaches' capability, but the experience she brings from the African continent," Raji stressed.
Raji's statement was in support to the association mission statement; "...to promote and develop football without any form of discrimination."

LFA President Mustapha Raji told Coach Instructors at a refresher in Monrovia that he will not hesitate to "exclude" and "delist" those of them who ill-perform in submitting their reports on time or delay in responding to communications.
Raji stood stern and steadily looked in the face of a dozen coach instructors and said they have to complete their responsibilities of submitting and making reports on time.
"We will not be chasing our instructors after courses to submit reports and complete their responsibilities in time.
"If you failed to do so as an instructor, you'll be excluded; Your ill-performance makes the outside world to look at us differently," Raji said.
The president nonetheless expressed trust and confidence in the Liberia Coach Instructors and believed they're getting the best support and materials needed to do a good job.
The president maintained that all paper works relating to correcting amd grading coaches at any course, will be done right at the LFA HQ
