Frodsham Artisan Market returns Saturday (April 27) after debuting Easter Saturday. Organisers estimate hundreds attended the first market, with visitors coming from far and wide.

Over 50 creators and traders will set up stalls this weekend. Live music will be provided by Moulton folk-pop singer-songwriter Marc Gallagher, with a children's paint and pot workshop run by Carrington Crafts.

The event is organised by Frodsham Town Council and Independent Street, a firm that also organises the artisan markets at Great Sankey, Congleton Market Quarter, and Bents Artisan Market at Glazebury.

The market will run from 10am to 4pm. A spokesperson for Frodsham Town Council said: "We are thrilled by the overwhelming response to Frodsham's Artisan Market.

"The event not only highlighted the incredible talents of our local artisans but also showcased Frodsham as a vibrant destination for visitors. We are delighted to have brought new faces into our town and provided a platform for our existing businesses to thrive."

Lisa Cowley from Independent Street said: "Our launch event in Frodsham saw a tremendous buzz about town. We have been inundated with requests for stalls plus countless messages from local businesses.

"Thank you to the Frodsham Town Council and to Cheshire West and Chester Council for their support and for the opportunity to showcase in Frodsham, we are very excited to develop this event further into 2024. The Frodsham Artisan Market is something very special indeed."
