NEW DELHI: The Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examinations (TNDGE) has released the TN 10th Result 2024 today, May 10. Students who have participated in the TN SSLC 10th Examinations 2024 can download their results from the official website at tnresults.nic.in.

This year, TN SSLC pass percentage has been recorded at 91.55%, which is a minor increase from last year's 91.39%.A total of 8,94,264 students participated, with 8,18,743 successfully passing the SSLC exams.

Tamil Nadu 10th exams 2024 were held from March 26 to April 8, 2024, at 4107 centers in a single session on all days, from 10:00 AM to 01:15 PM.

Language (Tamil) - 96.85%

English - 99.15%

Maths - 96.78%

Science - 96.72%

Social Science - 95.74%

TN 10th Result 2024: Pass Percentage Over the Years

2024: 91.55% (8,18,743 candidates)

2023: 91.39% (8,35,614 candidates)

2022: 90.07% (8,21,994 candidates)

Gender-wise Pass Percentage Over the Years

Similar to previous years, girls have once again surpassed boys with an overall pass percentage of 94.53%, whereas boys achieved 88.58%. However, there's a slight decrease in girls' performance compared to last year's 94.66%. Here's the gender-wise pass percentage over the years for TN 10th Results;

2024: 88.58% (3,96,152 candidates)

2023: 88.16% (4,04,904 candidates)

2022: 85.83% (3,94,920 candidates)

Girls

2024: 94.53% (4,29,591 candidates)

2023: 94.66% (4,30,710 candidates)

2022: 94.38% (4,27,073 candidates)

TN SSLC Exam 2024: District-wise Performance

This year, 260 jail inmates took the TN 10th exams, with 228 of them successfully passing. The pass percentage for jail inmates this year stands at 87.69%.

The registration for supplementary exams will commence on May 11. Students interested in re-evaluation can submit their applications from May 15 to May 20. The re-examination is scheduled for July 2, 2024.

Steps to Check TNDGE 10th Result 2024

Step 1: Go to the official website of the board at tnresults.nic.in

Step 2: Click on the link that reads, 'SSLC Result 2024' available on the homepage.

Step 3: On the login window, enter the exam roll number or registration number, date of birth (DOB) and enter the given image text (captcha).

Step 4: Click on submit and download for all future references.
