600 awarded degrees at IIT-P convocation | Patna News - Times of India

Patna: Altogether 630 students were awarded degrees at the 10th convocation of the Indian Institute of Technology-Patna (IIT-Patna) held at the institute's newly constructed auditorium at its Bihta-based campus on Tuesday.

Dr N Kalaiselvi, director general, Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) and secretary, department of scientific and industrial research (DSIR) was the chief guest.

Emphasizing the global recognition of IITs for academic excellence and innovation, Kalaiselvi highlighted the importance of using education not only for technological advancement but also for fostering peace.
