Minister of Federal Government affirms the role of training centers in building and upgrading capabilities

Port Sudan, May 24 (SUNA) - Minister of the Federal Government Chamber, Engineer Muhammad Kurtkila, stressed the importance of training and capacity building for employees of government institutions, the private sector, and civil society as a main lever for achieving economic and social development and enabling the state to carry out its tasks effectively and sustainably.

This came during his meeting at his office in Port Sudan Thursday with the Director of the African Center for Governance, Peace and Transformation Studies, Dr. Mahmoud Zain Al-Abidin, in the presence of the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Federal Government, Moaz Abdullah Bilal, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Social Development, Gamal Al-Nil, and the Director of the General Administration of Human and Financial Resources at the Ministry of Federal Government Chamber, Nassir Abdeen.

The Minister pointed out to the importance of enlightenment and training centers in promoting and developing public performance in a pioneering manner according to the circumstances of the stage, and that the Ministry is interested in promoting and building the capabilities of workers in the states at all levels, especially administrative officers and civil service employees, praising the efforts of the African Center for Governance, Peace and Transformation Studies in training workers in various state institutions and its extended cooperation with the Ministry before and after the outbreak of war, indicating that the Ministry of Federal Government Chamber will cooperate with the Center in training workers in the states and the headquarters of the Ministry in areas of priority and specialization.

Dr. Mahmoud Zain Al-Abidin, Director of the African Center for Governance, Peace and Transformation Studies, expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Minister and the Ministry's leaderships for the cooperation and constructive interaction with the Center's projects and activities, stressing that the Center is exploiting all its efforts and capabilities at this stage to support national efforts to address the current crisis and its repercussions by implementing joint activities with state institutions, the private sector and civil society, announcing the Center's readiness to implement the training sessions that the Minister directed to be held in the near future, stressing that the Center's experts and trainers are putting all their knowledge and experience at the disposal of the Ministry of Federal Government Chamber to achieve this noble work.
