Guwahati: The Board of Secondary Education Manipur on Monday declared the Class 10 HSLC results, with 93.03% of students passing the test, the highest pass percentage in the last decade.

Out of the 37,547 students who took the examination, 34,931 students passed. The pass percentage for boys was 93.07, while for girls, it was 93%, an official said.

Manipur introduced the grading system for the first time, and no merit list was released.Earlier this year, the state cabinet approved the implementation of the grading system.

Tengnoupal district recorded the highest pass percentage at 99.65, while Jiribam district the lowest at 50.71%. The exams were held from March 15 to April 3 across 154 centres, with 63 in the hills and 91 in the valley.
