NEW DELHI: Virat Kohli, who has an excellent record against archrivals Pakistan, registered a rare failure in their T20 World Cup clash in New York on Sunday.

Virat, who had an average of 308 against Pakistan in World Cups before the match, fell in the second over of the innings after India was asked to bat first by Babar Azam.

Virat reached out to a short and wide delivery by Pakistan pacer Naseem Shah looking to slap it over point, but he smashed the delivery that seemed to stop just a little, straight into the hands of Usman Khan off the edge of the bat to fall for 4.

This was only the second time in 11 T20I innings against Pakistan that Kohli was dismissed for a single figure score.

And Kohli's dismissal triggered wild celebrations amongst Pakistan cricketers and fans while Indian players in the dugout and fans in the stadium were distraught.

Among the spectators at the packed stadium was Darren J. Watkins, better known as IShowSpeed or simply Speed, an American YouTuber, rapper, and online gamer.

In a video that is going viral, Speed gets angry, miffed and terribly upset at the dismissal of Virat, saying "shit happens" and "it's not ok" when one of the Indian fans asks him to calm down.

Speed is a devoted fan of football legend Cristiano Ronaldo, and does not shy away from expressing his love for Virat Kohli, whom he has referred to as the "GOAT" (Greatest of All Time) in one of his Instagram posts. His passion for Kohli as a player is evident through their interactions on social media.

Last year, during the ODI World Cup, Speed was in India to witness the match against Pakistan.

At the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York, India staged a remarkable comeback to beat Pakistan by 6 runs.
