Suspect arrested after leading police on high speed chase in stolen Amazon delivery truck - WWAYTV3

HAMPSTEAD, NC (WWAY) -- State Highway Patrol has arrested a person who led officers on a high-speed chase in a stolen Amazon delivery truck.

The pursuit ended on Boogie Blvd off Island Creek Road near Hampstead.

The State Highway Patrol says law enforcement officers had been chasing the truck down I-40 early Tuesday afternoon.

The identity of the person arrested has not been released at this time.

WWAY reached out to the Highway Patrol for more information but has not heard back at this time.
