Ahmedabad: The family of a 41-year-old man, who suffered a fatal head injury on June 11 and passed away the next day, gave his body to Civil Hospital for cadaver organ donation. Hospital officials successfully retrieved two kidneys, the liver, and the heart from the patient. Dr Rakesh Joshi, the medical superintendent, said these organs will be transplanted at Medicity located on the hospital campus.The latest donation takes the hospital's tally to 505 organs. tnn
