St Lucia: Nicholas Pooran was on fire on Tuesday against Afghanistan in their last Group A game in St Lucia. Pooran smashed a breathtaking 98* off 53 balls to power the hosts to a mammoth 218 for five in 20 overs. During his memorable knock, he equaled Indian stalwarts Rohit Sharma and Yuvraj Singh's feat. Pooran was involved in a 36-run over, something Yuvraj and Rohit have been part off. This happened when Azmatullah came out to bowl the 4th over of the innings. Pooran got started off the very first ball as he smashed it for a six.

The second ball off the over turned out to be a no-ball, which Pooran smashed for a boundary. The next ball went for a boundary off the legs and it was a free-hit.
