NEW DELHI: A UPSC aspirant was barred from taking the exam at an exam center in Gurugram's Sector 47, SD Adarsh Vidyalaya, due to her late arrival on Monday.

The aspirant's mother and father expressed their anguish and frustration outside the exam center gate. The daughter tried to console her father, who was upset and cursing the authorities for not allowing her to take the exam.

"Papa! Drink some water. Why are you behaving like this? Papa, we can take it next time. It's not such a big deal," the girl says, attempting to calm her father down and assuring him that she will take the exam next year.

The father, overcome with emotion, says, "We've lost a year, my child," to which the aspirant courageously responds, "It's okay! We're not running out of time." The girl and her father tried to console the mother, who was unwilling to leave the center, says, "I won't go."

The daughter pleads with her mother, saying, "Mummy, it's just one exam! Please, stop making a scene like this." Eventually, the mother is carried away by the father.
