JOHANNESBURG - Embattled Transnet National Ports Authority CEO Pepi Silinga is facing disciplinary action.
It follows a forensic report that implicated him in corruption.
It relates to a multi-million rand tender for a multi-purpose terminal at the Port of Ngqura.
Transnet appointed a forensic firm to probe the allegations earlier this year.
Silinga took special leave amid investigations in January.
Based on the recommendations, the parastatal agreed to charge Silinga and other implicated managers.
External independent chairpersons have been appointed to chair all disciplinary proceedings.
